Jesus has a meal with the Pharisees this day – and we have a meal with Jesus this first Sunday in Lent.  The Pharisees are angry because Jesus isn’t doing things in the proper way – not following the rules.  Sometimes we need to leave unrealistic rules behind, and walk with Jesus away from bad situations.  The cross is getting closer, so we walk together with Jesus toward it!
