Journey Through the Unknown

“But I’ll take the hand of those who don’t know the way- who can’t see where they’re going. I’ll be a personal guide to them, directing them through unknown country. I’ll be right there to show them what roads to take, make sure they don’t fall into the ditch. These are the things I’ll be doing for them—sticking with them, not leaving them for a minute.” (Isaiah 42:16 from the Message)

Coming Back to Worship!

Summit Church Family – here are the plans for our first ‘in-person’ worship this upcoming Sunday, June 14th!  We look forward to this slow journey of coming back together as a worshiping community!  These plans will continue through Labor Day weekend – but will be evaluated monthly in our ever-changing situation.

The Holy Spirit at Work

“When the Feast of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Without warning there was a sound like a strong wind, gale force—no one could tell where it came from. It filled the whole building. Then, like a wildfire, the Holy Spirit spread through their ranks, and they started speaking in a number of different languages as the Spirit prompted them.” (Acts 2:1-4 from the Message)

All things new…

“From this time on we do not think of anyone as the world does. In the past we thought of Christ as the world thinks, but we no longer think of him in that way. If anyone belongs to Christ, there is a new creation. The old things have gone; everything is made new!” (2 Corinthians 5:16-17)

Advent – a time of preparation…

“Many have tried to report on the things that happened among us. They have written the same things that we learned from others – the people who saw those things from the beginning and served God by telling people his message. Since I myself have studied everything carefully from the beginning most excellent Theophilus, it seemed good for me to write it out for you. I arranged it in order to help you know that what you have been taught is true.” (Luke 1:1-4)
